Windshield cracks can be dangerous – especially when that crack is on the windshield of an airplane.
In Charlotte NC, a small US Airways flight carrying 14 passengers and 3 crew members had to make an emergency landing because there was a crack in the windshield of the plane. No one was hurt and the plane has been taken out of service, but I bet that was a pretty scary flight for the passengers…and crew! Full story is here.
